LEGOLAND Florida 2026: New Attractions, SEA LIFE, Peppa Pig & Full Review
LEGOLAND Florida is a park we already knew well, and to be honest, it was one we mostly appreciated when the kids were younger. Less crowded than the big Orlando parks, simpler, easier to manage, and with a genuinely family-friendly atmosphere. But after going back recently, we discovered a park that has clearly evolved.
Between new experiences such as SEA LIFE Aquarium, the nearby Peppa Pig Theme Park, additional attractions such as the Galacticoaster, and a more complete overall offer than before, LEGOLAND Florida has successfully renewed itself in recent years. And above all, we had a real surprise: the experience now feels much more varied and enjoyable, even with children who are getting older.
So, is LEGOLAND still worth it in 2026? Is it still a good choice compared with Disney or Universal? And above all, does it still work when the kids are no longer very small? Here is our opinion after this new visit.
Limited-time offer not to miss
At the moment, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is offering a particularly interesting deal for families: by booking just one hotel night, you can benefit from a Gold Annual Pass valid for one year for each member of your family.
In practical terms, this means unlimited access to LEGOLAND Florida, the Water Park, Peppa Pig Theme Park, and several other Merlin attractions in Florida. In other words, a single hotel night can turn into a full year of family outings. If you plan to visit the region several times, or if you live in Florida, this offer can clearly be worth it.
What’s new at LEGOLAND Florida
The Galacticoaster: the new ride to try
One of the newest additions, the Galacticoaster, is definitely catching everyone’s attention. This ride brings a bit more thrill to a park that remains very family-friendly overall. It’s an accessible coaster — not too extreme, but dynamic enough to appeal to older kids… and even parents. It’s actually one of the park’s first indoor coasters since opening, which adds a real new dimension to the overall experience.

The themed universe is very immersive, true to the LEGO spirit, with a “space mission” atmosphere that begins as soon as you enter the attraction and continues all the way through launch. The intensity builds progressively, which means even kids who are a little hesitant can still give it a try.
This is clearly the kind of attraction that fills a gap LEGOLAND was missing: a more energetic experience without losing the park’s family-friendly feel. However, as is often the case here, the ride itself is fairly short. You enjoy every second of it, but it doesn’t last very long, which usually leaves you wanting to ride again… and maybe even a third time!

Right before the Galacticoaster, the LEGO Galaxy aliens set the tone with a fun and fully immersive atmosphere!
Another great point: wait times generally stay reasonable compared to the major theme parks, which means you can enjoy the attraction without too much frustration. Overall, it’s a really fun experience and definitely a ride you shouldn’t miss during your visit!
Sea Life: A Great Surprise
Another new addition you shouldn’t miss is SEA LIFE Florida, located right at the entrance of LEGOLAND Florida Resort. It’s a real bonus, especially in Florida, where the heat or sudden rain showers can quickly interrupt your day. Here, you have a fully indoor, air-conditioned experience that’s perfect for starting the day or taking a break anytime.

The layout is well designed, smooth, and enjoyable to explore, with several immersive areas that appeal to both kids and adults. You’ll discover stingrays, but also sharks, which always impress children and make the visit even more memorable. The underwater tunnel is clearly one of the highlights, allowing guests to watch marine life swimming all around them.

The underwater tunnel: one of the highlights of the visit
The visit itself is fairly short (plan for around 30 to 45 minutes), but it fits perfectly into a day at LEGOLAND without slowing down the pace. Overall, it’s a great surprise and a really nice addition to the park, especially if you want to mix attractions with calmer moments. It’s also a very good option at the beginning or end of the day to avoid the crowds.
Peppa Pig Theme Park: Perfect for Younger Kids
Located right next to LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Peppa Pig Theme Park is an excellent option for families with young children. Unlike the larger theme parks, everything here is designed at their level: the rides are gentle, accessible, and age-appropriate, allowing little ones to fully enjoy the experience without frustration.

Peppa Pig Theme Park
You’ll find several rides inspired by the world of the cartoon, including:
- small roller coasters designed for young children
- boat and car rides
- interactive attractions where kids can play and participate
The park also features:
- water play areas (perfect for Florida weather!)
- zones to climb, explore, and run around
- meet-and-greets with Peppa Pig characters

The colorful world of Peppa Pig instantly charms little ones.
The atmosphere is very family-friendly, colorful, and much calmer than in the major theme parks, which is really appreciated when visiting with young children. Another important point: the park is very manageable in size, so you don’t spend the whole day walking, and wait times usually remain reasonable. It’s truly a favorite for families with children under 6 or 7 years old, and an excellent addition to a day at LEGOLAND.

LEGOLAND Water Park: A Great Way to Complete the Day
And to round out the day, there’s also an option people sometimes forget about: the LEGOLAND Water Park. We had already tried it during previous visits, but this time we really took the time to enjoy it, and honestly, it remains a fantastic option, especially with kids in Florida.

The wave pool at LEGOLAND Water Park is perfect for cooling off in Florida.
Between the wave pool, the areas designed for younger children, and water play zones like Joker Soaker, there’s more than enough to keep families entertained for several hours without seeing the time fly by. It’s fun, suitable for all ages, and especially enjoyable on hot Florida days.
One extra feature we tried this time: the comfort options. We rented a large lounger — the Premium Seating Cabana — for around $79, and honestly, it completely changed the day. Having a dedicated space to relax between attractions and safely keep your belongings makes a huge difference.
It’s also possible to rent private cabanas for even more comfort. Prices vary depending on the location, but you can generally expect to pay between $200 and $400 for the day. If you’re visiting with a group, it can actually become a worthwhile option to split, especially if you want a shaded area to relax and store your things. It’s definitely an extra expense, but with kids, it can make the experience much more enjoyable — especially if you plan to spend several hours there.
Overall, the Water Park is a real bonus, as long as you organize your day well. It’s exactly the kind of activity that lets you alternate between rides and more relaxing moments. LEGOLAND with Older Kids: Our Honest Experience
Honestly, that was the question we had before going back. Because clearly, we absolutely loved LEGOLAND when the kids were younger. In my opinion, it’s still one of the best theme parks in Florida for children ages 2 to 12.
Let’s be honest — some rides do start to feel a little “too young” as kids get older. But in reality, there’s still quite a lot to do, even for older kids. Between attractions like The LEGO Movie Master of Flight, The Great LEGO Race, NINJAGO The Ride, and the different coasters like The Dragon in the medieval area or Coastersaurus in the dinosaur section, there’s definitely enough to have a great time. And newer additions like the Galacticoaster really help complete the experience by adding a bit more thrill.
And honestly, SEA LIFE is also something that appeals to all ages and helps break up the day nicely.
Overall, we found it still to be a really great family outing, especially if you have children of different ages. It may not be the most intense park for teens looking for major thrills, but for a fun family day, it works really well!
LEGOLAND Florida in 2026: Who Is It For, and Is It Worth Visiting?
Honestly, yes, and even more than before! We’re not going to compare LEGOLAND to Disney or Universal because it’s a completely different type of park, and that’s exactly what makes it special. Everything here is designed with families in mind: it’s simpler, smoother, less exhausting, and ultimately often much more enjoyable with children.

A fun and immersive queue line before takeoff
If you’re traveling with kids between 2 and 12 years old, it’s clearly a great option. The park is easy to navigate, wait times usually stay reasonable, and kids can truly enjoy the day from start to finish. It’s also a fantastic alternative if you want to experience a Florida theme park without dealing with the massive crowds of Orlando’s biggest parks.
With newer additions like SEA LIFE, the Peppa Pig park right next door, and the latest attractions, the overall experience now feels even more complete than before. However, if you’re traveling only with teenagers looking for intense thrills, this probably won’t be the best fit. But for a more relaxed and equally fun family day, LEGOLAND remains a solid choice.
