Speculoos Tiramisu
Here is a recipe derived from tiramisu: speculoos tiramisu. A friend had made it for us, I loved it, and I simply stole her recipe.
You will need the following ingredients for 4 people:
– 250 g mascarpone
– 4 eggs
– 3 tablespoons sugar
– speculoos cookies
– Nestlé Dessert caramel chocolate…
– a little milk
Separate the yolks from the whites and beat the egg whites until very stiff with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix the yolks with the rest of the sugar until pale. Then add the mascarpone, then gently fold in the beaten egg whites using a wooden spatula, lifting the mixture carefully (it is important that the whites are not broken but remain very airy). Melt half a bar of chocolate with a little milk. Dip the whole speculoos cookies into the melted chocolate and line the bottom of the dish, then add a layer of mascarpone.
Repeat the process once more. Put your speculoos tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 1 night, or several hours if you plan to enjoy it the same day. Before serving, crumble some speculoos cookies and sprinkle them over the top of the verrines.
