Epcot at Disney Orlando
Epcot at Disney Orlando is a park divided into two distinct parts: Future World and the World Showcase. The latter is made up of pavilions representing 11 countries and feels like a permanent world exposition where visitors can discover different cultures from around the globe. In this article, I am going to talk about the main attractions we experienced so that it can be more practical for your own future research. Please note that this is a summary. For more details or other attractions, you should visit Disney’s official website. The idea here is to share a few tips, but the best thing is still to discover the attractions for yourself on site.
One thing is certain at Epcot Disney Orlando: you are going to travel!
FUTURE WORLD ATTRACTIONS, Epcot Disney Orlando

Soarin’ Around the World
If there is one attraction you should not miss at Epcot Disney Orlando, it is definitely this one. You will soar above the world and feel many sensations, even the scents. Soarin is clearly our favorite attraction at Epcot Disney Orlando.
Spaceship Earth
Another favorite is Spaceship Earth, located inside the geosphere that symbolizes Epcot Disney Orlando. Through this attraction, you travel through time and discover, in a very playful way, the history of communication from the Stone Age to the computer age. At the end, you can even imagine and design your own future, which is simply great fun for children.
Living with the Land
In this discovery-style attraction, you travel by boat through the greenhouses of The Land pavilion and can admire Disney’s giant vegetable garden. Be careful: a few vegetables and plants have taken the shape of Mickey!
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
This attraction, dedicated to younger fans of Pixar’s Finding Nemo, lets you dive into Nemo’s world without getting wet.
Turtle Talk with Crush
If you feel like speaking in real time with a turtle and the characters from Nemo, head to this attraction. Here, the turtle and its companions start a conversation with random people in the audience through a giant screen. It is much better if you understand English well.
We did not have time to do Test Track and Mission: Space, or rather my husband did not, because I am not much of a fan, since the wait was too long. On the other hand, we did take photos with some of our favorite characters, including Minnie and Mickey. There are also many smaller attractions to see in this part depending on how much time you have.

WORLD SHOWCASE, Epcot Disney Orlando
The World Showcase is the other major side of Epcot, and it is one of the things that make the park so different from the rest of Disney World. Here, you move from country to country through pavilions inspired by 11 nations, with architecture, restaurants, details, and atmospheres meant to evoke each culture. It is this section that really gives Epcot its traveling dimension.
For many visitors, the pleasure here is as much about walking and soaking in the atmosphere as it is about attractions. You can discover different settings, eat in country-themed restaurants, and enjoy the feeling of moving through several worlds in a single afternoon.
What makes Epcot so special compared with other Disney parks is precisely this balance between attractions, discovery, and a more educational but still entertaining spirit. The park is able to interest both families with children and adults who like something a bit different from classic rides.
In the end, Epcot is one of the most original Disney parks because it mixes imagination, technology, education, and world cultures in a way that is very distinctive. It may not feel like the most traditional Disney park, but that is exactly what gives it its personality.
Epcot is one of the most original and memorable Disney experiences in Orlando because it lets you travel while staying inside a single park.
