Filets de cabillaud à la moutarde

My son loves this recipe: mustard cod fillets. It is a balanced dish and incredibly easy to prepare for busy women. Today I made it with cod fillets, but you can use any other white fish fillets depending on your taste and what you have on hand. Just a few ingredients are enough to make these mustard cod fillets.

Ingredients for 2 people

– 2 cod fillets

– 20 cl liquid heavy cream

– 2 tablespoons strong or medium-strength mustard (I choose medium mustard for my son)

– A few gherkins

– Olive oil

– Salt, pepper

Preparation

Place your fish fillets in a lightly greased baking dish and bake them for about 10 minutes at 210°C (410°F / gas mark 7). Remove the dish from the oven and pour off the liquid released by the fish.

Mix the mustard with the cream, then coat your fillets with this mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Slice a few gherkins into rounds and scatter them over the dish. Return the cod fillets with the cream to the oven and cook for another 10 minutes.

When the fish is cooked, remove it from the oven and serve it hot with the side dish of your choice. Tonight, we had it with basmati rice. Enjoy your meal!
