Cupcake au chocolat

 

Like many people, I love cupcakes! Well, especially cupcake decorations! Today, for dessert, I made chocolate cupcakes! Here is the recipe, very simple as usual!

 

Ingredients for the chocolate cupcakes :

– 75 g dark baking chocolate

– 80 g softened butter

– 125 g flour

– 70 g sugar

– 2 eggs

– 60 ml milk

– 1/2 packet baking powder

Ingredients for the frosting:

– 150 g dark baking chocolate

– 45 g butter

Preparation

Melt the chocolate and stir until it becomes very smooth. In another bowl, mix the butter and sugar until pale. Then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the melted and lukewarm chocolate. Sprinkle in the flour mixed with the baking powder and mix well. Add the milk and stir vigorously to get a very smooth batter.

Then pour your batter either into a cupcake pan or into paper liners. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F / gas mark 6) for 20 minutes. Remove them from the oven and let them cool.


For the frosting, melt the chocolate with the butter, stirring until you get a very smooth mixture. Then put it in the refrigerator, stirring from time to time, until the mixture thickens. Once the topping is ready, place it in a piping bag with a star tip and pipe rosettes onto the cupcakes!
