Marble Cake Recipe
By chance while browsing online, I came across a marble cake recipe that I wanted to share with you because it is simply fabulous for anyone who loves Savane-style cakes.
Ingredients
– 4 eggs
– 140 g sugar
– 130 g flour
– 70 g dark chocolate
– 70 g white chocolate
– 1 packet vanilla sugar
– 140 g butter
Preparation
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with the sugar until pale, then add the flour. Pour half of the batter into another bowl. Melt the dark chocolate with 70 g of butter and add it to one of the two batters. Then do the same with the white chocolate, adding the vanilla sugar before mixing it into the second batter.
Beat the egg whites until stiff, then fold half into one batter and the rest into the other.
Take a loaf pan and line it with baking paper. Then pour in one layer of dark chocolate batter (smooth it out), then one layer of white chocolate batter (smooth it out), and repeat the process once more.
Bake your marble cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 50 minutes.
