Chocolate Chip Cupcakes
Today, for the birthday of one of my best friend’s sons, I made chocolate chip cupcakes. He just turned 3 and he is a real little foodie.
Ingredients for a good dozen chocolate chip cupcakes:
– 150 g flour
– 125 g sugar
– 1/2 packet baking powder
– 4 eggs
– 125 g melted butter
– 80 ml milk
– chocolate chips
For the frosting:
– 150 g dark chocolate
– 45 g butter
Start by beating the 4 eggs, then add the sugar. Whisk again until the mixture becomes pale. Add the melted butter while stirring. Add the milk and continue whisking lightly. Then add the flour and baking powder all at once and mix until you get a very smooth batter. Finish by adding the chocolate chips to taste.
Place paper liners in your muffin tin and fill them three-quarters full. Bake the chocolate chip cupcakes for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Remove them from the oven and let them cool.
