Halloween in Disney and Universal Theme Parks in Orlando
If you are visiting Florida during this season, do not miss Halloween in the Disney and Universal theme parks in Orlando. Between entertainment, parades, haunted houses, and shows, here is what these two parks offer during this period.
MICKEY’S NOT-SO-SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY – DISNEY ORLANDO

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place at Magic Kingdom from August 25 to November 1, 2017. As the name suggests, this event is themed around Halloween, but it is absolutely not frightening, which means children of all ages can enjoy it.
During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, you can watch the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show, the Happy Hallowishes Fireworks, and the parade Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween.
Of course, you can also dress up and take part in the famous Trick-or-Treat throughout the park in specific areas (see the map below). You will also have access to Magic Kingdom attractions. More information can be found here about Halloween at Disney Orlando.

October 2017: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, and 31.

HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS – UNIVERSAL ORLANDO
Halloween Horror Nights takes place from September 15 to November 4, 2017, in the streets of Universal Studios park. During these nights, you are plunged into a true horror-movie setting, where you will come across monsters, ghosts, and zombies. You can also visit 9 haunted houses, discover 5 scare zones, and watch 2 shows. Of course, you will also have access to the park’s attractions.
Be careful: this event is not suitable for very young children, and Universal Studios does not recommend it for children under 13. It is also forbidden to wear costumes or masks. More information is available here about Halloween at Universal Orlando.
