Tin City in Naples is a typical “Old Florida” waterfront area that has become a tourist spot over time. It is a small covered gallery with souvenir shops, various small stores such as Naples Soap Company, a tropical wine tasting shop called The Naples Winery, a snack stand, a giant-cookie seller, and the Monkey Bread Factory with all of its sweet treats.

There are also restaurants overlooking the bay, with boats and pelicans as the backdrop. For more details, the original article referred to the official Tin City website: http://www.tin-city.com/

At Tin City, a company called Pure Florida offers themed cruises such as dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, and dinner cruises, as well as boat and jet-ski rentals and jet-boat tours.

There is even a three-hour dolphin and eco-tour cruise toward the Ten Thousand Islands with a stop on Keewaydin Island. We tried the 1.5-hour sightseeing cruise along Naples Bay and Gordon Pass.

During that outing, we saw magnificent waterfront homes, boats, birds, and, of course, dolphins. It is a pleasant way to discover another side of Naples.
