  >  Southwest Florida   >  Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park in Naples, Florida

This is the first chapter in our Naples beaches series: Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, one of Florida’s state parks, which are often all beautiful in their own way. Not far away, and in a similar style, you can also find Lovers Key State Park in Bonita Springs.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is open every day from 8 a.m. until sunset. Entrance costs $6 per vehicle, $4 if you are alone, and $2 for pedestrians or cyclists.

People mainly come here for the white sand and turquoise water. I also strongly recommend watching the sunset from this beach, where you have a very good chance of seeing dolphins.

The beach is wild, with nature as the only backdrop. Compared with Lovers Key, most of the beach here is fairly narrow, which is actually very pleasant because you end up close to the water without feeling packed in. If you want a wider beach, go to the last parking area, where you will also find the observation tower mentioned in the original article.

You can walk in the park, collect shells, picnic, and go kayaking. There is also an area reserved for boats, which adds to the scenery.
